About the owner of CREATE

For as long as I can remember I loved dabbling in tech work. Nothing specific. Everything made me curious. Anything that can be used to highlight beauty, inspire creativity, and encourage others, I wanted to learn about it and I wanted to do it. I took every opportunity that I could find, learned from my mistakes and I grew in my experience. I had the privilege to shadow several local technical producers who specialized in different areas of media production. I have an incredible brother who taught me most of what I know about music engineering and graphic design. A couple of close friends who are professional videographers and photographers and were kind enough to give me hands on lessons for camera work and tutorials on editing software. Sketch art just came from years of practice. What I am saying is I never formally went to school for any of the work that I do, I just learned through experience. For the past 5 years I have been hired by several ministries, churches, and businesses to handle different areas of tech service under the employment of One Voice Leadership Academy and at the beginning of the year 2020 I made the decision to start my own private contracting business. As I was trying to think of a name for my business, I had a really hard time coming up with something that wouldn’t be specific to video work or photo work. It needed to cover everything I offered, and I wanted something unique. I wanted a name that showed purpose. I’m not just looking to make money, I want to produce beautiful things, I want to inspire and encourage, I want to connect with others who admire creativity, I want to build others up by using what I can do as a tool. As I was thinking about it, I was listening to an interview with Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, the band members of Twenty One Pilots, when Tyler said,” The beginning of purpose is found in creating something only you understand.”. That’s when I knew what I was going to call my business/ministry. CREATE. I am here to serve you as best as I can, and help you create something amazing.
